Wifi issues in Norway

Have been difficult due to the remote areas and I have been crazy busy trying to take in everything. I have pleteny of photos but posting via the iPhone is next to impossible and while the iPad is better I ran into formatting issues for photos.

Since its light here almost all the time with the summer solstice here in a few days I have been taking advantage of that aspect.

Alas I bought a new Nikkon camera for the trip however my ability to take photos like someone from National Geographic is well NOT there. I do have stunning photos and more memories than I can blog about.

The day started out cloudy and I elected to sleep in a bit I am exhausted and while I still have several days here I do not want to end up sick.

It's mid afternoon and the sun has come out and I am off to see the Frogner Park ..

June 3rd I am on my way to Molde and to see the island of Sekken where Kate Carlsen was from got to airport early and was engrossed in trying to blog about yesterday when bleep my phone alerted me to a gate change glad I was paying attention.

June 2 was a blur - lets wind the clock back a bit May 31 excitement builds to the point I should have done more than count electric sheep. Head made contact with the pillow at 11pm alarm claxon went off at 5:45pm -

Left Seattle to LAX and I covered that bit earlier above.

My flight on Norweigan Airlines was terrific aboard a 787 Dream Liner - I was able to score a sweet price point on my ticket for following Norweigan Air on Social Media and especially taking part in Tweeting about my trip. Oh by the way Norweign Air gets their planes form Boeing @ Pane Field.

Plane I took:

• The airline announced new routes opening from Las Vegas and Los Angles last May and to keep the excitement going their social media campaign allowed me to get in @ $348 RT for "Priemium Class". If purchased two weeks after fights started June 2015, I could scarcely pass that price point up.
• The seating is very comfertable they are like lazy boy recliners! 
• The Windows have Photochromic properties at the touch of the button forget the window shades. 
• The flight crew were amazing there was a medical emergency as a person blood sugar got really low in the seat behind me 25 was the reading. A nurse and physical came from else where to stableize the passenger she is fine.
• The flight crew served a great meal mine was beef buergondy Yumm!
• The plane has light modes which cycle in the background to acclimatized one to the new time zone and to reduce jet lag. 
• I dozed but did not sleep to wound up which I had anticipated so I arrived in Norway feeling quite fatigued but not jet lagged.

Much to my surprise the wait times at the security lines in Seattle have improved! These days one can never tell and it's prudent to arrive early avoiding frustration about making flight 

• Flight on Virgin America was delightful Main Cabin select is the way to go and the middle seat was unoccupied Woot! Departure was 15 minutes late but they made up time landing approximately at 1:15pm.
• LAX is a very busy place and can trying, I got turned around but left myself plenty of time before my next leg to Oslo.
• Getting tickets for Norweigan Air was confusing but being at the airport 6 hours ahead what can one expect. Signage keep changing every 30 minutes or so as different airlines finish their ticketing process. I was first in line I always choose ZERO on ticket counters as I hate queues. That a bit of Doctor Who sarcastic humor. Wait time was 45 minutes.
• Now in oneWorld lounge I find the amenities delightful and it is less hectic than the general boarding areas I am so jaded and I find my tollarance levels really low. 
• Boarding will take place at 6:45pm departure at 7:30pm.
• I am flying into the future arriving in Norway at 2:45pm on June 2nd, local time in Oslo at the moment is 2:11am.
