  1. I am now getting the "flag" feel for these banners. I like this one. Do the various colors/shapes have specific symbolic meaning?

  2. Well the center of the flag is a circle representing one which Fae consider the basis for "unity", the human view might be a ZERO which as you pointed out the Fae dislike. Think of how you draw a circle one stroke from top to bottom from left to right. This is why they use the circle in their counting. The left side is shaded Silver ( this use of color follows to the numbering of the Fae number 1) The right side is Gold ( this use of the color defines the Fae number 6) The Royal house favor these two colors. The inverted square in the middle is one of many ways they count to Four- of which represents "everything done as wished" part of their spell casting power relies on the using of four houses to cast long lasting powerful spells. Use of the houses Polar opposites i.e. Spring and Fall from one house and Earth and Fire from another house allows them to increase the spell strength the more houses involved increases the spells ability to last or encompass a larger area. Unity is achieved when all the houses agree on casting a spell which rarely happens. Unity spells are casted during the "Purple Hour" at dawn or dusk. The arc's are energy flow the arc's flow inwards towards the unity source. Starting at the what can be described as EAST the left hand side arch counts as ONE the Eastern right hand side arc counts as two. Continuing what is South the top arc counts as three, the South bottom counts as four. West is at the bottom the right arc counts as five the left side to the West arc is counted as six. Progressing to North the bottom arc is counted seven the North top arc is counted as eight. All these arc are the outer edges outside the circle. The inner arc's that lie just inside the square use the same directions for numbering purposes i.e. East left is nine East right is ten South top is numbered eleven and twelve. West is thirteen and fourteen and North bottom is fifteen and North top is SIXTEEN. The final number SIXTEEN is the final number four sets of fours the total number of Fae houses.
